Depot Connect International (DCI) in Jacksonville, FL is seeking DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience. The role offers a shift Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm, and a pay range of $16.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience for our Jacksonville, FL location!

Shift Hours:Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Range: $16.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
