Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to support on-site teams at various job sites in Harrisonburg, VA. The role involves setting up cones, signs and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols throughout the shift.

The position offers paid training and a traffic safety certification, with opportunities for overtime and advancement to senior or lead roles.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds.

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites, ensuring safety and traffic control without requiring prior experience or a degree.

Your main duties include

• setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and removing traffic control equipment
• guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity
• adhering to all safety protocols taught during training
• communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
• maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $18.50 to $19.25, with overtime opportunities
