Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to set up and dismantle traffic control equipment at work sites in Altoona, PA. You will guide traffic with stop/slow paddles, monitor site activity, and communicate with the crew and supervisors to maintain safety standards.

The role emphasizes outdoor work in all weather conditions, adherence to training, and a commitment to safety and respectful conduct toward coworkers, clients, and the public. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to stand, walk and lift 40-50 pounds for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in traffic and in diverse weather conditions.
• Flexibility with schedule and punctuality are required.
• Successful completion of pre-hire screening including drug testing.
• Commitment to safety and respectful conduct toward coworkers, clients, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle traffic control equipment (cones, signs, barricades).
• Guide traffic using stop/slow paddles.
• Monitor site activity to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisors.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and adhere to training protocols.
