Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Protector to help ensure traffic safety at our job sites. You will set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintain safety protocols throughout the shift.

No experience or degree required; we provide comprehensive training, ongoing support, and opportunities for advancement. The role is outdoors in all weather, requiring physical activity and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Passing pre-hire screening, including drug tests
• Alertness around moving traffic and respectful conduct towards coworkers and the public

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades to designate work zones and guide traffic.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddles and maintain safe flows around job sites.
• Monitor equipment and vehicle safety and report any hazards or issues.
• Communicate clearly with crew and supervisors to ensure safety procedures are followed.

Join a traffic safety team as a Protector, responsible for setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining safety at job sites.

No experience or degree needed; comprehensive training and support are provided. Key duties include following safety protocols, communicating with crew and supervisors, and ensuring equipment and vehicle safety. This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, standing or walking for extended periods, and occasionally lifting 40–50 pounds.

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $18.36 to $20.07, with overtime and pay raises in the first year
