Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to work with a crew at various job sites, managing traffic control and ensuring public and worker safety.

The role involves setting up cones, signs, barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and following safety protocols learned during training. You will operate outdoors in all weather, with possible night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Standing, walking, and lifting 40–50 pounds may be required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and potentially nights or weekends.
• Wamiliarity with safety protocols and traffic control procedures.

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to manage traffic control and ensure safety.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and dismantling traffic control equipment
• Guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity
• Following all safety protocols learned during training
• Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions, potentially during nights or weekends
• Standing or walking for extended hours

Qualifications Include

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40-50 pounds
• Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions
• Flexibility and punctuality
• Pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test
• Alertness around moving traffic and respectful conduct towards others

Additional Details

• Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $17.75 per hour with overtime and potential pay increases
