Job summary

Union Pacific Corporation is seeking a Track Laborer - Driver Eligible in Findlay, IL to help build and maintain railroad tracks and support the safe movement of trains across North America.

The role requires outdoor work, a valid CDL (Class A or B), and proven experience in railroad maintenance, welding, and heavy equipment operation, with strict adherence to safety standards and FMCSA/FRA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class A or B.
• Experience in Railroad Maintenance of Way.
• Welding experience or certificate.
• Operate heavy equipment and construction-like environments.
• Adhere to safety rules and FRA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Handle, unload and move track materials and equipment from rail cars, carts or trucks.
• Remove and replace rails, rail anchors, spikes, ballast, ties and other parts.
• Work with equipment and dig holes and trenches.
• Observe track beds and right-of-way for defects.
• Drive company vehicles as needed.
• Maintain track beds and clear vegetation and debris.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
