Job summary

Union Pacific Railroad is seeking a Track Laborer - Driver Eligible to join our Engineering team in the United States. You will unload and move track materials, inspect rails and beds, and help maintain safe, reliable track across North America.

This role requires being 21+, obtaining a CDL if necessary, and passing FMCSA medical qualifications; driving duties and on-call flexibility are part of the job. The pay rate is $33.42 per hour with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ to be eligible.
• Regular inspections of tracks, beds and right-of-way to identify issues.
• Must follow safety rules and procedures.
• Operate company vehicles as required.
• Carry out track maintenance, repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

• Handle, unload and move track materials and equipment.
• Replace rails, anchors, spikes, ballast and ties as needed.
• Work with equipment and dig holes/trenches.
• Observe track conditions for problems or defects.
• Adhere to safety regulations and FRA guidelines.
