Job summary

Union Pacific Railroad is seeking a Track Laborer - Driver Eligible to join our team in the Tucson area. You will assist in building and maintaining tracks, moving materials, and supporting safe, efficient rail operations across North America.

The role requires obtaining Union Pacific driver certification during probation, a CDL if operating heavy vehicles, and adherence to FMCSA/FMCSA medical standards. Physical endurance and flexibility for varied shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Valid driver's license and MVRO requirements.
• CDL if GVWR 26,000 lbs or greater.
• Welding certificate or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload and move track materials and equipment from rail cars or trucks.
• Replace rails, anchors, spikes, ballast, ties as needed.
• Inspect tracks and right-of-way for defects.
• Follow safety rules and FRA regulations.
• Operate company vehicles as needed.
• Maintain track beds and remove debris.
