Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale seeks an experienced engineer to shape TPU emulation and ASIC verification, focusing on TPU architecture integration within AI/ML systems and collaborating across emulation, software and hardware teams.

You will help develop and maintain emulation infrastructure and tooling, support debug, and interface with vendors to enable prototyping of critical ASIC projects with broad impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of industry experience with RTL design and simulation using industry tools.
• Experience with coding/scripting in C, C++, Perl, TCL or Python.
• Experience with emulation systems and related workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and upgrade emulation infrastructure and interfaces with emulation vendors.
• Develop emulation workflows, gather feedback and implement improvements.
• Support debugging of hardware, tooling and verification tests on emulation platforms.
• Bring up external interfaces (USB/PCIe/Ethernet) on emulation platforms and create test cases.
