MITER Brands in Sacramento is seeking a Maintenance Planner with a strong lean manufacturing background to implement proactive and preventative maintenance, maximize equipment efficiency, and lead TPM-driven improvements. The role emphasizes safety, training, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will coordinate maintenance activities, manage parts and inventories, and drive CI initiatives while communicating effectively with operators and leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher with 3–5 years in manufacturing.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and TPM/CI practices.
• Understanding of shipping/receiving processes.
• Knowledge of TPM, lean manufacturing, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Set safety priorities for all events and machines.
• Train and develop team members on new processes and systems.
• Ensure maintenance functions follow safety and PSM.
• Manage parts ordering, inventory, and continuous improvement policies.
• Lead TPM culture and audit procedures across the plant.
• Create event teams with detailed schedules and run trainings.
• Maintain machine standards, tool-change schedules, and lubrication practices.
• Record daily machine output and manage tagging for work allocation.
• Provide 30-minute training sessions on Lube, Clean, Air, and Electricity.
