Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a TPM Engineer to lead planning, development and execution of Total Productive Maintenance at our manufacturing site in Ohio. The role supports safety, quality and productivity improvements through TPM and loss elimination initiatives.

Responsibilities include building TPM and Lean-Six Sigma capabilities, leading TPM implementation across autonomous and preventative maintenance, and guiding management with TPM initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience working in manufacturing.
• Experience with continuous improvement programs.
• Ability to work up to and sometimes more than 40 hours/week in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop TPM and Lean-Six Sigma capabilities at the site.
• Plan, lead and support TPM implementation including Autonomous Maintenance; Preventative Maintenance; Early Equipment Management and Focus Teams.
• Act as subject matter expert on TPM processes and implementation.
• Provide direction and communication to Management teams regarding TPM Initiatives.
• Lead CI events through hands-on participation.
