Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to support maintenance operations across our Springfield, MO site. The role focuses on coordinating planning, scheduling, and follow-up of maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.

You will work with maintenance and operations teams to drive TPM initiatives and reduce reactive maintenance. Responsibilities include building optimized schedules, updating PM procedures, ensuring parts readiness, and tracking

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS software and maintenance planning methods.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety practices in a production environment.
• Ability to document jobs as planned, performed and completed. Experience with electronic data capture.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize maintenance schedules to support proactive maintenance.
• Update PM procedures to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Prioritize tasks based on criticality, urgency, and impact.
• Ensure parts, tools, and resources are ready before scheduling work.
• Assign technicians based on skills, availability, and workload.
• Coordinate with production to schedule during planned downtimes.
• Ensure work orders are prioritized, resourced, and executed efficiently.
• Refine PMs and WOs based on technician feedback.
• Collaborate with supervisors and vendors for services and TPM initiatives.
• Support shutdowns, projects, and TPM efforts.
