Job summary

Bertelsmann-Jobs seeks a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support administration and maintenance of U.S. compensation and benefits programs. You will provide analytical support, data reporting, and day-to-day operational help across compensation and benefits activities.

The role requires experience with HRIS, multi-state benefits, and strong Excel skills. Collaboration with Payroll, HRIS, and Finance is essential to ensure compliant, accurate programs for employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Progress toward CCP/CBP/CEBS preferred.
• 3+ years in compensation, benefits, HR operations, or HR analytics.
• Experience with HRIS and confidential data handling.
• Experience in a multi-state environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain salary structures, pay evaluations, and pay grades with data accuracy.
• Manage annual compensation processes including merit increases, bonuses, and salary planning cycles.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using surveys and data; summarize findings.
• Support pay equity analyses by data gathering and reporting.
• Prepare standard compensation reports and dashboards for decision-making.
• Maintain compensation data in HRIS; perform audits and reconciliations.
• Support day-to-day U.S. benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, life, FSAs, leaves, retirement).
• Assist with annual benefits renewals and open enrollment, vendor coordination, and communications.
