Job summary

Materion seeks a Senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst to design, implement, and administer our compensation and benefits programs. You will work with HR and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights using Workday and advanced Excel models.

The role focuses on evaluating jobs, managing offers, and guiding annual merit and benefits enrollment, ensuring compliance with FLSA, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and FMLA. A collaborative, equity-driven approach supports organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of compensation and benefits analysis experience.
• Expertise in compensation analysis, job evaluation, offer management, and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of labor and benefits laws (FLSA, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA).
• Advanced Excel skills with data modeling and pivot tables.
• Experience with Workday compensation and benefits modules.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze job offers for policy alignment and market competitiveness.
• Conduct job evaluations and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
• Lead annual compensation review processes and benefits enrollment in Workday.
• Administer employee benefits programs.
• Collaborate with insurers, brokers, and stakeholders to deliver plans.
• Develop advanced Excel models to analyze compensation data.
• Generate Workday reports for monitoring and analysis.
• Partner with HR and leaders to deliver data-driven recommendations.
