Job summary

Arvato Bertelsmann is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support U.S. compensation and benefits programs. You will analyze data, run reports, and help ensure programs are competitive and compliant, while delivering accurate information to employees.

You will manage salary structures, merit processes, and open enrollment, coordinating with Payroll, HRIS, and external vendors. The role requires experience with HRIS and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Progress toward CCP/CBP/CEBS preferred.
• 3+ years in compensation, benefits, HR operations, or HR analytics.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain salary structures, pay evaluations, and pay grades with data accuracy.
• Manage annual compensation processes including merit increases, bonuses, and salary planning cycles.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using surveys and market data.
• Support pay equity analyses with data gathering and reporting.
• Prepare standard compensation reports and dashboards for internal decisions.
• Maintain compensation data in HRIS and perform routine audits and reconciliations.
• Support day-to-day U.S. benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, life, FSAs, leaves, disability, retirement).
• Assist with annual benefits renewals and lead open enrollment activities with vendor coordination.
• Respond to employee/HR questions on benefits; escalate as needed.
• Support eligibility and enrollment issue resolution with vendors and records research.
• Assist with leave of absence and disability administration per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Help maintain benefits documentation and employee communications.
• Support compliance activities (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, pay transparency).
• Assist with audits by compiling data and tracking responses.
• Perform routine data quality checks on compensation and benefits data.
• Contribute to process improvements and document workflows.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, HRBPs, Finance, and external vendors for timely issue resolution.
• Communicate program information clearly to employees and partners.
