Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Tools Product Development Manager to serve as the single point of contact for Tools & Industrial solutions, supporting our internal sales teams with expert knowledge and consultative selling.

You will lead training, develop market solutions, and collaborate with sales and BI teams using SFDC, Dodge, PEC and other tools to win large projects while traveling up to 80%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 7+ years of solutions sell experience in industrial sector preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Tools & Industrial Solutions products and applications.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel up to 80% of the territory.
• Strategic selling, advanced negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and research abilities.
• Proficient with SFDC, Dodge, PEC or other CRM; MS Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Target development of tools market share for Tools & Industrial division in district/territory.
• Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers, Government/National Account Managers, and Sales Reps to provide custom solutions.
• Join sales calls as SME to help select cost-effective solutions for customers.
• Develop and conduct Tools & Industrial Solutions training to drive growth.
• Work with sales intelligence and internal teams to provide leads from SFDC, Dodge, PEC, etc.
• Perform other duties as needed.
