Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or obtain accreditation within the first 90 days of employment; accreditation maintained during employment

Responsibilities

• Manages the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and provide ongoing performance management, training and formal appraisals
• Maintain effective work schedules for Food Lion To Go associates to meet business traffic requirements of online orders
• Provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote our Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Proactively partner with department managers to ensure fresh orders and handle out-of-stocks appropriately
• Ensure return-to-stock items are handled promptly, especially refrigerated and perishable items
• Role model outstanding customer service and use product knowledge to meet customers' expectations
• Control store expenses through proper ordering, care for supplies and equipment
• Understand and utilize company tools and reports related to scheduling, productivity, ordering, and inventory
