Job summary

Food Lion in South Carolina is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the To Go operations, including hiring, training, and developing department associates. You will oversee scheduling, performance management, and daily processes to ensure timely online orders and high customer satisfaction.

As a Front End/To Go supervisor, you will drive adherence to safety, quality and company policies while achieving budgeted results. This role requires strong leadership and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and be able to obtain/maintain a Food Safety Manager accreditation within 90 days.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules for To Go associates to meet online orders.
• Provide leadership and motivation reflecting Food Lion Guiding Principles and values.
• Support budgeted financial and operating results.
• Partner with department managers to ensure fresh orders and handle out-of-stocks.
• Ensure improper return-to-stock handling for refrigerated and perishable items.
• Model outstanding customer service and leverage product knowledge to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and company policies.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses; recognize accomplishments and provide constructive counseling.
