Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a leadership-focused manager to oversee Food Lion To Go operations at Store 02584 in Hopkins, SC. You will hire, train, and develop department associates while driving customer satisfaction and store performance.

You will schedule staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments to ensure fresh, high-quality orders and proper stock levels, maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar as a 'Certified Food Safety Manager' or obtain within 90 days.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance of department associates and conduct performance appraisals.
• Maintain effective work schedules for To Go associates to meet online order demand.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Guiding Principles and Values.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Partner with department managers to ensure fresh orders and handle out-of-stock items.
• Ensure timely return-to-stock handling, especially for refrigerated items.
• Model outstanding customer service and use product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Control store expenses through ordering, supplies, and equipment care; use ACIS and scheduling tools.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in the department; ensure compliance with regulations.
