Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising.

• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Able to meet minimum age requirements and obtain Food Safety accreditations within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring and training department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct regular performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules for To Go associates to meet online order traffic.
• Provide leadership to promote our Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Partner with department managers to ensure fresh orders, especially for out-of-stock items.
• Ensure return-to-stock items are handled promptly, especially perishables.
• Model outstanding customer service and use product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Control store expenses through proper ordering and care for supplies and equipment.
