Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End/To Go operations leader to manage staffing, training and development of department associates, driving customer satisfaction and store performance at Store 02863 in Columbia, SC.

You will oversee scheduling, lead a team, ensure safe and compliant operations, and work to meet budgeted targets while delivering outstanding service to customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or equivalent as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or obtain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct timely performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order traffic and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Lead and motivate the store team to uphold Guiding Principles, Core Values and strategic goals.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure proper handling of fresh orders and out-of-stocks with department managers.
• Oversee compliance with safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
