Job summary

WSP is seeking a Traffic Management Center (TMC) Program Manager in Oakland, CA. This role oversees general management, QA/QC, contract administration, and support personnel for the TMC program.

The candidate will lead data analytics, report to the client daily, and ensure policy implementation. Requires 12+ years in TMC-related roles, with 5+ years in management and 4+ years in project management; bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in TMC, traffic operations, emergency operations, tolling, or TSMO.
• At least 4 years of project management experience.
• Experience supervising employees.

Responsibilities

• Be available at all times during off-duty hours to assist operations staff.
• Participate in on-site and off-site meetings; build and maintain relationships with operational stakeholders.
• Manage staff administration, performance, and oversight.
• Lead performance measurement, management, and reporting.
• Implementation and oversight of client policies and directives.
• Lead data analytics activities including economic evaluation and system evaluation.
• Report to the client daily on all matters affecting operations of the TMC.
• Attend meetings with the client for purposes of relaying information.
• Create and distribute weekly and monthly reports as needed; address special data requests.
