Job summary

RB Global Inc. in Baltimore is seeking a Title Specialist to secure documents and support vehicle title transfers. You will compile documents, communicate with customers, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with state requirements.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry and customer service, with knowledge of title regulations across multiple states. It supports IAA’s title processing operations in a field-office environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of state/national title processing experience.
• 2-3 years knowledge of title and salvage title requirements.
• Experience maintaining customer databases.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Review and process documentation for insurance and remarketing customers.
• Process salvage titles from multiple states for sale.
• Keep up-to-date on title regulations across states.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely responses to external/internal partners.
• Offer customer support via mail, email, telephone and direct personal contact.
• Enter title information into the IAA operating system.
• Complete applications to transfer title ownership.
• Stay current with title/salvage laws in multiple states.
• Respond to customer questions, complaints and requests.
• Resolve problems encountered in transferring title ownership.
• Perform word processing, filing and related clerical duties.
• Follow established procedures under supervision.
• Assist with other office functions as needed.
• Report all violations of policy to a supervisor.
• Protect confidential customer information and adhere to records policies.
• Develop employees as part of a progression plan.
• Maintain a culture of responsibility and integrity across span of control.
