Premier Ambulance in Brea, CA is seeking a Timekeeping & Payroll Administrator to review and maintain employee timecards, audit attendance, and support payroll processes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills. You will collaborate with the Payroll Department to ensure accurate payroll, meet deadlines, and help maintain compliant timekeeping records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous payroll, timekeeping, or workforce management experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, EMS, transportation, or a 24/7 operation is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with computer-based payroll/timekeeping systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and maintain employee timecards for accuracy.
  • Collect and audit employee time records, including regular hours, overtime, missed meal breaks, and attendance.
  • Coordinate with the Payroll Department to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Maintain confidential employee timekeeping records and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve timekeeping discrepancies by communicating with supervisors and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and payroll procedures.
  • Meet payroll deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Provide administrative support to the payroll team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Timekeeping & Payroll Administrator is responsible for reviewing and maintaining employee timecards, auditing attendance records, tracking meal breaks, and assisting with payroll-related functions. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, verify, and maintain employee timecards for accuracy.
  • Collect and audit employee time records, including regular hours, overtime, missed meal breaks, and attendance.
