Job summary

Viventium + Apploi seeks a Team Lead, Engineering for Time & Attendance to guide a multi-faceted platform including kiosk, mobile clocking with geolocation, and cloud services. You will own technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive modernization while ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, architecture influence, and collaboration with Product, QA, Security, and Architecture to deliver reliable software in a healthcare workforce context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineers with direct responsibility for one-on-one meetings, feedback, coaching, and performance discussions.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET, including .NET Framework and .NET Core or modern .NET.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React in enterprise web application environments.
• Experience building or leading the development of mobile or native applications using React Native, Android, or comparable technologies.
• Experience building and operating production systems on Microsoft Azure, including Infrastructure as Code practices using Bicep, Terraform, or comparable tools.
• Demonstrated success delivering software through Agile or Scrum practices, CI/CD, automated testing, code review, and measurable delivery improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery for the Time & Attendance engineering team, from planning and technical design through development, testing, release, and production support.
• Establish clear priorities, remove blockers, manage dependencies, and create transparency around delivery commitments, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Balance near-term roadmap delivery with platform stability, maintainability, security, technical debt reduction, and long-term system health.
• Partner with Product and Quality Assurance to maintain a clear, prioritized backlog and align delivery expectations with business and client needs.
