Job summary

Versant Media is seeking a Technical Lead to drive design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of our Time and Workforce Management ecosystem. This hands-on leadership role focuses on platform architecture, delivering scalable SAAS/PAAS solutions and ensuring security, reliability, and business alignment.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams across Time, Payroll, HR, and Operations, and partner with product, data, and infrastructure stakeholders to enable

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years leading medium to large full-stack delivery teams (on/offshore).
• Strong hands-on experience with full-stack architecture and development practices.
• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise applications with multiple integrations to SAAS platforms.
• Experience leading agile teams and working within CI/CD and DevOps delivery models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to platform strategy, architecture standards, and roadmaps for Time & Workforce Management across HR, Payroll, Time, and Operations.
• Design and implement scalable, secure SAAS/PAAS solutions aligned to business needs.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from design through build, test, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release planning, and environment management for stable releases.
• Mentor and develop a blended team of internal engineers and partners; manage budgets and resource plans.
• Ensure governance, security, and regulatory compliance across platforms; maintain regular status updates.
