Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is looking for a Training Specialist to lead the development of Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience through excellent service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities include delivering certifications, maintaining merchandising standards, operating the POS system, and conducting how-to classes for customers, while upholding forklift safety and stock procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates core retail principles (People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process transactions at checkout using the POS system.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays; create price tags and signs.
• Communicate SOPs and changes to associates.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification as required.
• Maintain department merchandising, pricing, and organization.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
