Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to lead the development of Product Sales Specialists and ensure a positive shopping experience with exceptional product knowledge.

You will drive staff training, standards, and certification courses while presenting merchandise effectively and maintaining orderly store conditions. Responsibilities include directing staff, executing the basic retail philosophy, and conducting customer-focused training sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop Product Sales Specialists.
• Provide direction to staff to ensure high-level customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing and department organization.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process transactions using the POS system and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Deliver short training sessions to customers on product use.
