Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Remote Tier 1 Customer Support representative to assist families with technical issues and inquiries. This fully remote position involves managing inbound calls and providing effective solutions for various customer concerns. Ideal candidates will have technical help desk experience and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Previous technical help desk experience or recent technical certification

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls supporting families with login issues and provide customer support to resolve problems
  • Manage approximately 30-50 inbound calls daily
  • Respond to inquiries about products/services, complaints, remote access, logins, website issues, and platform navigation
  • Assist families, students, and occasionally teachers via inbound calls, LiveChat, and email troubleshooting platform and login issues

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, especially HP laptops (performance, mic/camera issues, peripherals)
  • Experience with Active Directory, including password resets
  • Remote work experience with a quiet home environment and high-speed internet

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay range: $17.00/hr
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident, hospital coverage, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, employee assistance, PTO, and vacation

Workplace Type: Fully remote
