Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a member of the Family Tech Support Contact Center. The CSR is responsible for responding to a high volume of inquiries regarding the company’s products or services, including complaints, remote access issues, login problems, website issues, and platform navigation. The role involves handling inbound calls, LiveChat, and emails from families, students, and occasionally teachers.

Responsibilities
  1. Support families with login issues and provide customer support to resolve problems.
  2. Handle approximately 30-50 inbound calls daily.
  3. Respond to inquiries about various programs and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
  4. Assist with password resets, remote support, and platform navigation.
  5. Utilize remote troubleshooting tools such as Bomgar/BeyondTrust.
  6. Support with Google Apps, Zoom, and other communication platforms.
  7. Work remotely in a quiet environment with high-speed internet.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Customer service, troubleshooting, Windows, desktop support, technical support, password reset.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting (mainly HP laptops), Active Directory, network troubleshooting, and reimaging computers.
  • Knowledge of Apple computers, remote troubleshooting tools, Google Apps, and Zoom.
  • Experience working remotely in a home environment.
Additional Information

Entry-level position with a pay rate of $17.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, and PTO. This is a fully remote role, with an application deadline of May 30, 2025.
