Job summary

Attain Sports in Bowie, MD, is hiring a Ticket Sales Specialist to sell new and renewal ticket plans, group tickets, catered events and suite rentals for the Chesapeake Baysox. You will prospect and meet with local organizations, using cold calls and in-person meetings to build lasting relationships.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or Business, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service problem solving skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect, research and sell ticket plans and group packages, including luxury suites and parking options.
• Tailor hospitality packages using catalog of inventory to fit client needs.
• Make recommendations to the Director of Ticket Sales to grow department sales.
• Meet and exceed sales goals for season and group tickets and renewals.
• Provide superior customer service to clients and prospects.
