Job summary

Stantec in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Manager for its Energy & Resources business line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. You will drive project execution, support business development as a seller-doer, manage risk, schedule, budget, and quality, and collaborate with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.

This role requires 15+ years in power generation, PE preferred, and willingness to travel; office-based in Texas with opportunities

Qualifications

• Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
• Project management including leadership, resources, scheduling, controls and reporting.
• Experience in business development, proposals and budgets.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to the team and deliver energy projects.
• Lead multi-discipline project teams and coordinate with leaders and clients.
• Support project management best practices and risk management.
• Lead or support proposals and mentor junior staff.
• Achieve utilization targets and ensure project quality.
