Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for our Energy & Resources group in Texas to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects serving utilities, IPPs and data centers. The role covers Owner’s Engineer and detailed engineering/design work with emphasis on schedule, budget and quality.

The candidate will travel to US/Canadian sites as needed and collaborate with leadership across offices. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in power generation project delivery, strong leadership, BD

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience on power generation projects, Owner’s Engineer or detailed design work.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams and BD activities.
• PE preferred, strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to the team and programs.
• Lead multi-discipline Energy & Resources projects in TX and SW US.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, clients and vendors.
• Ensure alignment with PM frameworks, schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Support senior leadership in resource planning and mentoring PMs.
• Lead or support proposals and business development efforts.
