Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager in the Energy & Resources line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. The role blends execution leadership with business development, guiding projects from concept through delivery while managing risk, scope, and client expectations.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years on power generation projects, strong PM skills, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience on power generation projects (Owner’s Engineer or detailed engineering/design).
• Minimum 5 years in business development or as a “seller-doer.”
• Professional Engineer license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to the team.
• Lead energy projects/programs and coordinate multi-discipline teams.
• Contribute to project management best practices and governance.
