Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for the Energy & Resources line to lead multi‑discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. You will drive execution for Owner’s Engineer or Detailed Engineering services, working to grow the business and deliver high‑quality outcomes.

You will also mentor junior staff, manage risks, and support business development while traveling to US/Canada sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering design/construction experience on power plant projects.
• Proven PM leadership, scheduling, budgeting, controls and reporting.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with teams.
• Experience with EPC/DBB/ECI delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to the team.
• Lead energy projects/programs and ensure delivery.
• Promote PM best practices aligned with the firm framework.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, clients and vendors.
• Support client relationship management and mentorship of staff.
• Monitor resources, schedule, budget, and quality proactively.
• Develop action plans from lessons learned and improvements.
