Job summary
Stantec is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Energy & Resources line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. The role includes owner’s engineer and detailed engineering/design services for simple cycle, combined cycle, or repowering projects.
You will drive client satisfaction, manage risks, and lead business development efforts while delivering projects on time and within budget. Travel to US/Canada offices is required as needed.
Qualifications
- Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
- Experience in project management including leadership, scheduling, and controls.
- Proven ability to lead teams across multiple offices/geographies.
- Experience with EPC/DBB/ECI delivery models and business development.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management expertise to Energy & Resources teams.
- Lead power generation projects and coordinate multi-discipline teams.
- Contribute to PM best practices and execution frameworks.
- Coordinate with leadership, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Support project budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and quality.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.
