Job Description

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration, check-in, and clinical support duties. This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position supporting our Edina, MN Drive Therapy location. The schedule includes:

• Monday from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
• Tuesday & Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
• Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Essential Functions

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance info, and photo ID
• Verify and document insurance information
• Schedule patients accurately in the practice management system
• Communicate appointment details, directions, and other pertinent info to patients
• Chart preparation and management
• Maintain knowledge of health care plan requirements
• Support rotation of Switchboard Operator duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Customer Service experience required
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred

Benefits & Compensation

Starting pay varies based on experience. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, payable upon the first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Benefits include Medical, Dental & Vision plans, 401K with Profit Sharing, Tuition Reimbursement, and discounts.
