Description: The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration, check-in, and clinical support duties. This is a full-time position with variable daytime hours, Monday through Friday, across locations in Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, and Otsego. Twin Cities Orthopedics is part of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, committed to giving patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:
  1. Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
  2. Verify and document insurance information according to current business practices
  3. Schedule new and existing patients accurately and promptly in the practice management system
  4. Communicate appointment details, directions, check-in times, referral info, and copayments to patients
  5. Prepare and manage patient charts
  6. Maintain knowledge of healthcare plan requirements and networks
  7. Communicate timely with patients, families, and staff
  8. Rotate switchboard duties: handle calls, coordinate interpreters, and patient referrals
  9. Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred
Benefits & Compensation:

Starting pay varies based on education, skills, and experience. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, payable on the first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the bonus. Benefits include Medical, Dental & Vision plans, Maternity Bundle, 401K with Profit Sharing, Tuition Reimbursement, Gym & Car Rental Discounts.
