Description: The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration, check-in, and clinical support duties. This is a full-time position working M-F from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm out of our Coon Rapids location. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, dedicated to giving patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:
  1. Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
  2. Verify and document insurance information as per current practices
  3. Accurately and promptly schedule new and existing patients in the practice management system
  4. Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including appointment details, directions, check-in times, referral info, and co-payments
  5. Prepare and manage charts
  6. Maintain knowledge of healthcare plan requirements and networks
  7. Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff
  8. Rotate switchboard duties: handling calls, coordinating interpreters, and patient referrals
  9. Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred
Benefits & Compensation:

Starting pay varies based on education, skills, and experience. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, payable on the first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the bonus. Benefits include Medical, Dental & Vision plans, Maternity Bundle, 401K with Profit Sharing, Tuition Reimbursement, Gym & Car Rental Discounts.   • Ability to work in the clinic during business hours and travel within the clinic as needed
  • Ability to handle physical demands such as bending, lifting, standing, and sitting for long periods
  • Work efficiently, handle interruptions, and meet deadlines
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully
  • Prioritize workload and be flexible
  • Apply logical thinking and understand instructions
  • Operate equipment and phone systems effectively
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel to other locations if required
