Description

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration, check-in, and clinical support duties. This is a part-time (0.6) position working every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at our Eden Prairie location.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, committed to giving patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions
  • Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID.
  • Verify and document insurance information as per current business practices.
  • Accurately and promptly schedule new and existing patients in the practice management system.
  • Communicate all relevant information to patients, including appointment details, directions, check-in times, referral information, and copayments.
  • Prepare and manage patient charts.
  • Maintain knowledge of healthcare plan requirements and networks.
  • Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff.
  • Rotate switchboard duties: accepting, handling, and transferring calls; coordinating interpreters and patient referrals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Customer Service experience required.
  • Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.
Benefits & Compensation

Starting pay varies based on education, skills, and experience. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, payable on the first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the bonus.
