Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare front desk environment.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival and assist with front desk procedures.
• Verify benefits and obtain prior authorizations two days in advance when possible.
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles at time of service.
• Schedule therapy visits and manage charts for new and continuing patients.
• Prepare patient charge tickets for the Business Office.
• Distribute and collect mail twice daily.
• Ensure compliance with FOI policies and procedures.
