Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Front of House Team Member in Union City, CA to deliver excellent guest service across concessions, box office, and theater operations. You’ll greet guests, handle cash, answer questions, and help ensure a safe, enjoyable cinema experience.

Roles may include usher, box office, or concession duties as needed. Ideal candidates are 16+, reliable, energetic, and fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training or local certifications where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Able to communicate with all ages and speak English.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Able to take and follow direction.
• Responds with urgency.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operates Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions at assigned register.
• Verifies tickets and directs Guests to their auditorium.
• Ensures tickets are sold in line with MPAA ratings, policy, and guidelines.
• Provides pricing, movie information, and details on events and promotions.
• Responds to calls and questions in a professional manner.
• Performs theatre inspections to monitor presentation, sound, and safety.
