Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Manager position oversees theatre operations, cross-training across departments, and coaching staff as part of a Management Accreditation Program.

Role emphasizes adherence to policies, guest service excellence, safety, and potential advancement to Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager after program completion.

Flexible hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays while ensuring accurate reporting and top-notch customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses
• Commences basic food handling training and any required local/state certifications
• Management staff working with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to train and lead others
• Excellent guest service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager
• Supports GM decisions in staff communication
• Works in all departments and theatre functions
• Trains and coaches Team Members
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the GM
• Ensures cleanliness, safety, and proper PPE usage
• Maintains dress code and professional conduct
• Delivers superior customer service and resolves issues
