Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and standards are met. They are cross-trained across departments to provide support and inspirational training to employees.

The role can progress to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service. This position requires flexible hours, strong guest service, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program (MAP) within required timeframe.
• Food handling training and local/state certifications as needed.
• Availability for flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Strong guest service and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all departments and theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre facilities and coordinates repairs as needed.
• Ensures staff adhere to dress code and policies.
• Delivers superior guest service and responds to customer needs.
