Job summary

Regal is seeking an Assistant Manager for a theatre location in the United States. The role focuses on operating and supervising the theatre and its staff, representing Regal in line with company policies and mission.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, training, and performance oversight, as well as operating projection and AV systems, maintaining compliance with alcohol service rules where applicable, and managing costs and daily administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three months supervisory experience or 6 months theatre experience with Cast Certification Program.
• Ability to communicate clearly, read and write effectively for staff and patrons.
• Experience with PC platforms and basic office programs.
• Must be able to operate projection and audio-visual equipment and perform associated maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee theatre operations and staff performance.
• Recruit, schedule, coach, and discipline staff with GM oversight.
• Operate projection and AV systems and ensure film handling procedures are followed.
• Manage cash receipts, deposits, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and enforce theatre policies and alcohol service requirements where applicable.
• Control operating costs and purchase supplies for daily operations.
• Coordinate theatre maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Support marketing and promotions of film engagements and show times.
