Job summary

Regal is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily theatre operations and supervise staff in a dynamic movie venue. The role requires operating projection and AV systems, ensuring guest satisfaction, and enforcing company policies with integrity.

The position emphasizes training and coaching employees, managing cash handling, cost control, and coordinating marketing for film engagements. Experience in supervision or theatre setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three months of supervisory experience or 6 months theatre experience with Cast Certification, or equivalent potential.
• If handling alcohol, must be of legal age and complete required trainings including Regal Responsible Beverage Server.
• Effective public speaking and written communication are essential.
• Basic math and budgeting skills for cash handling and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Uphold and administer theatre policies.
• Train, develop, coach and supervise non-management employees.
• Operate projection and audio-visual equipment and maintain related systems.
• Monitor and report safety, loss prevention and accidents.
• Count, deposit and reconcile all receipts daily (cash, cards, checks, gift cards).
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, scheduling and coaching staff; possible disciplinary actions under GM guidance.
• Control costs and manage inventory for concessions and supplies.
• Market and promote feature film engagements and schedule show times.
• Review and understand training materials on harassment and discrimination.
