Job summary

Regal Cinemas, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for a theatre location in the United States. The role focuses on operating and supervising theatre staff and equipment, while representing Regal in alignment with our policies and mission.

The position requires supervising staff, managing concessions, and ensuring compliance with alcohol training, safety, and ROM. A management certification program and theatre experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• At least three months supervisory experience, or 6 months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program
• Must be able to supervise staff and handle HR-related duties under VP approval
• Experience operating projection and AV equipment including maintenance and programming
• Alcohol certification/training current where applicable
• Read and understand training materials on harassment and discrimination

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance
• Upholding and administering theatre policies
• Training, coaching and supervising non-management employees
• Performing staff positions as required
• Operate projection and audio-visual equipment and maintain theatre systems
• Ensure alcohol certification where applicable
• Monitor risk management and safety of staff and patrons
• Count, deposit and reconcile receipts daily
• Interviewing, hiring, scheduling and coaching staff under supervision
• Control costs and manage concessions stock and inventory
• Oversee theatre maintenance and timely showings
• Promote film engagements and schedule show times
• Comply with Regal policies and training materials
