Job summary

AMC Entertainment is seeking a Manager to lead daily theatre operations and a team with purpose and ownership. You’ll coach staff, drive guest service excellence, and ensure staffing and reporting are completed to AMC standards.

In this role you will oversee multiple departments, manage performance, and support the General Manager to achieve financial and guest experience goals in a fast-paced cinema environment. On-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Six months supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
• Experience in guest-focused business (retail, restaurant, hospitality) is beneficial.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge including theatre-specific systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, opening, and closing operational and administrative duties.
• Oversee and complete theatre administrative reports.
• Ensure that associates consistently meet AMC Guest Service standards.
• Ensure proper staffing levels across all areas of the theatre.
• Reinforce guest and operational focus through MBWA (Managing By Walking Around).
• Review financial numbers to drive performance and optimize guest experience.
• Oversee an assigned theatre department, if applicable.
• Listen, communicate, and work effectively with guests in a high-volume setting.
