Job summary

Regal in Anchorage is seeking a hands-on Theatre Operations Supervisor to uphold company policies, manage cash controls, and oversee concessions and inventory. You will hire, train and supervise staff, ensure alcohol certifications where needed, and coordinate with HR on personnel actions.

You will also supervise projection/AV systems, manage costs, and ensure safety, maintenance, and guest service standards are met daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of post-secondary education in Business and/or two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of facility systems including maintenance and projection skills.
• Must be able to complete Regal Academy beverage server training if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Regal policies and directives.
• Ensure cash management policies are followed.
• Control inventory shortages and spoilage.
• Hire, train, supervise, schedule staff, and coordinate with HR for termination actions.
• Administer paperwork and uphold company policies for HR-related matters.
• Maintain required alcohol certification and training where applicable.
• Supervise theatre staff and projection/AV systems, maintain TMS and related projection skills.
• Manage costs, purchasing, and stock for daily operations, including auditing inventories.
• Oversee theatre maintenance and janitorial standards to Regal levels.
• Monitor risk management, safety, and incident reporting.
• Handle guest relations, marketing and promotions of film engagements, and show-time scheduling.
