Job summary

Regal is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to operate and supervise a theatre and its staff. You will act as the Regal representative, ensure policy adherence, and manage daily financials and concessions alongside maintenance and promotions.

The role requires supervising staff, coaching team members, and coordinating showtimes, with training programs including ROM and beverage service where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a student).
• At least three months supervisory experience, or 6 months theatre experience with Cast Certification Program, or a combination thereof, subject to VP approval.
• If theatre sells alcohol, must be of legal age and complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training.

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Upholding theatre policies.
• Training, coaching and supervising of non-management staff.
• Performing all staff positions as required.
• Operate projection and audio-visual equipment and maintain ROM and TMS systems.
• Maintain alcohol certification when applicable.
• Monitor safety, loss prevention and emergency handling.
• Manage cash receipts and reconciliations.
• Ensure dress code compliance.
• Interviewing, hiring, scheduling and disciplining staff under GM guidance.
• Control costs and procure concessions, café stock, and supplies.
• Oversee theatre maintenance and minor repairs.
• Marketing and promoting feature engagements; schedule showtimes.
